Inordinate Fondness follows a girl besotted by insects in a world that despises them. After an upsetting encounter with a more conventional stranger, our protagonist seeks solace in her own imaginary world. In a play within an animation, she reflects on life through an insect-oriented lens, arriving at odd revelations about religion, the stars and life’s origin, and faces the complications of loving sans logic.
