In the Spring of 2020, Kate Schreiber and I were preparing work for Dartmouth's annual two-person Perspectives on Design Show. As it became clear the show was to be rescheduled for summer 2021 due to the pandemic, we were simultaneously abandoning work, packing, and hastily leaving our shared studio in New Hampshire. In August 2020, I installed this basement show, begun from the remains of plans I'd had for the POD. It is a work-in-progress picture, experienced only via a small Zoom opening and through the documentation here.
This work continues in the deliberately hazy, groping vein of "There are Rooms Which Are Sometimes Forgotten" in May, as all of these pieces respond in varying manners to a desire to comprehend things beyond our limits.
